How to Pick the Right Summit Track

The 2027 Global TapRooT® Summit features six tracks. A track is a selection of sessions that fit into one overarching theme, such as safety or human performance.
If you’re having trouble choosing which track is best for you, let’s break down all six.
Supercharging Your Root Cause Analysis Track

This track is focused on the fundamentals. If you’re looking to enhance your root cause analysis skills, this is the track for you.
Sessions include using the new TapRooT® Advisor™ Software, making your RCA program more efficient, workshopping your root causes, and more.
If you have any questions about the track, reach out to Ken on LinkedIn.
Preventing Serious Injuries and Fatalities Track

If safety is high on your radar, we recommend the Preventing SIFs Track. It’s all about being proactive about near misses and minor incidents before they snowball.
There are sessions about proactive investigations, pre-startup reviews, safety red flags — just to name a few.
Send a message to Marcus if you need any more information.
Human Performance Track

As you might have guessed, the Human Performance Track is about mitigating human error systemically.
This track features a live podcast on human performance, a discussion on fatigue, an activity on procedures, plus more.
Alex is always active on LinkedIn, so give him a poke there if you have any inquiries.
Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Track

This track is for any teams dealing with recurring equipment problems.
Learn all about Equifactor® Equipment Troubleshooting with sessions on table examples, success stories, and proactive use.
Justin would be more than happy to answer any questions you have, too.
Continuous Improvement to Achieve High-Reliability

Want to take your business to the next level of reliability?
Learn from the best, and take away lessons on integrating CAPA into RCA, best practices from the Nuclear Navy, striving for high-reliability in the private sector, and much more.
Tim is the primary Track Lead, so reach out to him with any inquiries.
Psychology of Excellent Performance

Better understand the thoughts and behaviors of people with this track.
Attend sessions on improving listening skills, changing behavior, coaching for excellent performance, gaining leadership commitment, and so on.
Any questions? Barb would be more than happy to answer.
What about the Instructor Recertification Track?
In previous Summits, Certified Instructors were required to attend a dedicated track.
To give our instructors more flexibility, we’re no longer hosting this track. You may select any track.
Keep in mind that there are still non-optional sessions for instructors. These will automatically be added to your schedule when you select “Certified Instructor” upon registration.
