What is the 2025 Safety & Risk Management Track?
Safety and Risk Management is one of the eight Tracks to select upon registration of the Global TapRooT® Summit. A track is a series of recommended sessions for a given topic.
If you’re need to keep up with the latest safety regulations, struggle to enforce safety procedures, or want to network with safety practitioners, we recommend signing up for the Safety and Risk Management Track.
Ken Reed, the Track Leader, is always happy to answer any inquiries about the track.
What are the best sessions in the 2025 Safety & Risk Management Track?
Start When Safe: Shift the Paradigm Around Safeguards
Instead of stopping production when conditions are unsafe, why don’t we start work when they are safe?
This session, presented by Alex Paradies, challenges the current status quo of risk management. Protocols often instruct workers to maintain high production while looking our for and stopping hazards, which isn’t feasible in execution.
If we verify that our safeguards are in place before an accident occurs, we can save time, money, and, most importantly, lives.
Alex’s session takes place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 2:40 PM.
Live Podcast: Ways to Reduce SIFs and Improve Safety
In this session, SafetyProPodcast host Blaine Hoffman will interview Adam Britton and Justin Clark, two experienced TapRooT® Users, about strategies to reduce Significant Injuries and Fatalities (SIFs).
Listeners will gain valuable yet practical strategies for cultural assessments, implementing strategies, and approaching zero.
This session is planned for Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2:20 PM.
Fatigue Risk Management Systems
Is your workers operating at night, with extraneous workloads, or for long periods of time? If so, your organization needs a strong Fatigue Risk Management System (FMRS).
Bill Davis will teach the limitations of the human body and their impacts on productivity. Learning and implementing his recommended policies will benefit workers with reduced stress and companies with significantly fewer human errors.
Improve your productivity, profitability, and safety by understanding fatigue.
This session will be hosted on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 9 AM.
