Jeremy Desilets is the Founder and CEO of Clearline Safety Inc., a full-service safety, training, and competency management organization based in Calgary, Alberta (Canada). A Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Jeremy brings over 25 years of experience across a wide range of industries.
He is widely recognized for his passion and expertise in safety performance and improvement (and proudly embraces the title of “safety nerd”). He has a proven track record of helping clients achieve measurable improvements in their safety management systems and training programs. He thrives in collaborative environments, especially when a SnapCharT® is involved.
With more than 18 years of experience leading investigations, Jeremy is a seasoned TapRooT® RCA practitioner and instructor. He has conducted hundreds of investigations into critical incidents, serious injuries, equipment failures, and process safety events. For the past 16 years, he has also been a dedicated TapRooT® trainer, sharing his expertise internationally.
Outside of work, Jeremy is most at home in the Rocky Mountains. He spends every weekend skiing, from late November to early May, and enjoys camping, fishing, and hunting when the ski hill is closed. While it has not been ‘officially’ recognized, he was recently voted the “Top TapRooT® Instructor in Alberta” by his household pets – a title he proudly accepts.
