Travel Information for the 2027 Summit

The 2027 Global TapRooT® Summit about a year away (April 5-9), but it’s never too soon to start planning for travel! Here’s what you need to know about transportation:

Flight Information

The closest airport to the venue (Margaritaville Lake Resort in Lake Conroe, near Houston) is the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (airport code: IAH).

The Summit ends at noon on April 9. If you’re planning to leave that day, please schedule your flight in the afternoon. We wouldn’t want you to miss our final keynote speaker (or your flight)!

If your flight is shortly after the closing statements, you may bring your luggage into the ballroom.

Ground Transportation Information

The Margaritaville Lake Resort in Lake Conroe does not provide a shuttle.

Taxis and ride apps (Uber, Lyft, etc.) can take you straight from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. Keep in mind the hotel is about an hour away.

If you want your own set of wheels, there’s a rental car service five minutes away from the terminal by shuttle.
