Global TapRooT® Summit – Discussion of the Aloha Airlines Incident in the Safety Improvement Track

The Global TapRooT® Summit is a great place to learn from industry experts about not just general improvement of your safety programs, but also results from specific incidents. In the Safety Improvement track, I have a great talk lined up to discuss the Aloha Airlines incident that garnered world-wide attention. I think you remember it. It was the 737 over Hawai’i that had almost 20 feet of the cabin roof explosively leave the plane. The exposed passengers were visible as the plane returned for an emergency landing.

Derek Vanhoy from North State Aviation will be giving us an in-depth look at that incident. It’ll be a great opportunity to do a deep-dive on a particular incident and the lessons we learned from the investigation.

This is just one of the terrific sessions that are available in this track. Don’t miss the chance to improve your improvement programs by learning from the best. The Global TapRooT® Summit will be held at the Horseshoe Bay Resort (outside of Austin, TX) on April 29 – May 3. Register today!
