What does a bad day look like? National Christmas tree blows over
It takes a lot to get the country’s national Christmas tree chosen, delivered, then decorated and properly introduced to the public.
Much of the action surrounding the national Christmas tree goes on behind the scenes but recently the big tree, a 40-foot Norway spruce from Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia, took a tumble, thanks to a strong swirling wind.
According to WTOP, the National Park Service stated. “After assessing the tree’s condition and replacing a snapped cable, the tree is now upright.”
