What does a bad day look like? Mistaken identity
When does a case of mistaken identity almost put you in hospital?
When you’re Adam Hadwin, Canadian PGA player who — in a case of mistaken identity — was pretty seriously tackled by security who thought Hadwin was a fan rushing the winner of the Canadian Open tournament, fellow Canadian Nick Taylor, the first Canadian to win the Open in 69 years. Taylor won by making an eagle with a 72-foot putt. Hadwin’s wife, Jessica, reported on Twitter that Adam was “still among the land of the living and in true Canadian form apologized to the security guard for being tackled” (Twitter: Jessica Hadwin @jessicahadwin, June 11, 2023, 8:52 pm).
