Yesterday was the 2024 total eclipse of the sun across America — a path stretching from Texas to Maine.
Aside from the science, the wonder, and NASA participation in this historic event, eclipse watchers were wildly enthusiastic about the historic solar event.
The eclipse was big business for the country.

The fervor of the eclipse was projected to stress understaffed healthcare in rural locations. Hospitals in the path of totality told Axios that they’ve been practicing emergency drills and coordinating with local officials for more than a year.
