Wall Street Journal Reports Mine Superintendent Gets a 21 Month Prison Sentence for Accident
The Wall Street Journal reported:
“A former superintendent at the Massey Energy Co. coal mine that exploded in 2010, killing 29 miners, was sentenced in federal court Thursday to 21 months in prison amid a continuing criminal probe.“
The accident at the Upper Big Branch Mine was reviewed in a special session at last year’s Global TapRooT® Summit.
