Back in the days of the dreaded COVID shutdowns, it was easy to choose between virtual or in-person TapRooT® Training. You had no choice. You couldn’t put people together in a room; therefore, you chose virtual training.

We didn’t just provide the same 2-Day Course virtually. We went to great trouble to ensure that virtual training was effective. This included prototype course testing, student evaluation feedback, post-course testing, and investigation grading/review follow-up.

The normal 2-Day (8 hours per day) TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course was converted into a 3-Day (6 hours per day) Virtual TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course.

• This training is available in public courses held in time zones all over the world, so if you only have a few people to train worldwide, this can be an easy option.
• No travel is required for the students or the instructor. This can reduce overall costs by reducing travel expenses.

What are the advantages of the in-person 2-Day TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course? Consider these:

• Even though the virtual courses are interactive and effective, you can’t beat an in-person course for the training experience.
• The 2-Day TapRooT® Course is available in public courses held worldwide, so if you can’t fit all your people into a single course, you can send some to in-person public courses.
• Our public courses may be nearby and thus require no travel costs.
• Some of our public courses are in “vacation” destinations, and attendance at them may be considered a reward for employees.

In-Person 5-Day TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader Training Advantages

First, the 5-Day TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader Course is only given in person. It is taught both in on-site courses and public courses held around the world.

The main advantage of the 5-Day TapRooT® Course is that you learn both the essential TapRooT® Techniques taught in the 2-Day/3-Day Training plus the advanced techniques (CHAP, Change Analysis, and Equifactor® Troubleshooting), interviewing techniques, human factors information, and proactive improvement techniques. You will also get additional practice applying the TapRoot® Software in the course exercises.

We find that people are more confident after a 5-Day Course and are better investigators. Thus, the investment is worthwhile.
