How far away is death? Very close call

close call

What can appear like “playing around” on the ocean can turn deadly within a blink of an eye — as illustrated in this close call.

What does “close call” mean to you?

The dictionary tells us that a close call means “a narrow escape from danger or disaster,” or it can be something like almost being eliminated from a tournament.

A close call can also mean that you almost had an auto accident. You can see a very close call in this article, “Monday Accidents & Lessons Learned: Close Call at London Waterloo Station.”

Have you ever been in a close call like this?
