Think about it — those huge TVs from the ’80s were never going to be stolen!
You could barely get one of the very heavy, super-large TVs in the house to begin with; so, who was going to get away with getting the monstrosity out of the house and loaded up in a vehicle large enough to accommodate it?
That looks like my Grandma’s TV from the 1960s.
