From South Korea to Saskatchewan: A Week of TapRooT® Training in Redmond

What happens when investigation professionals from across North America and halfway around the world come together for five days of TapRooT® training? A lot of learning, collaboration, and shared experience. TapRooT® Instructor Heidi Reed recently taught a 5-Day TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader Course in Redmond, Washington, and this class covered some serious mileage.

Participants traveled from South Korea, Saskatchewan, Denver, Dallas, Virginia, Minnesota, Arizona, and Illinois, with two students joining from the Redmond area.

Over five days, participants moved beyond simply learning about root cause analysis and put the TapRooT® System to work. As these photos show, the course includes plenty of hands-on activities, team exercises, discussion, and opportunities for participants to present and apply what they are learning.

That interaction is an important part of a public TapRooT® Course. Participants arrive with experiences from different organizations, industries, roles, and even countries. As they work through exercises together, they can learn from those different perspectives while developing a consistent, systematic approach to investigating problems.

Five Days to Build Advanced Investigation Skills

The 5-Day TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader Course is designed for people who want to develop the skills to lead major investigations and tackle complex problems. Participants learn and practice the TapRooT® Investigation process throughout the week, building experience they can take back to their organizations.
