Well… it’s Groundhog Day…

Again…
Silly as it sounds, the 1993 film Groundhog Day can teach us a lot about root cause analysis.
History will repeat itself.
Time can’t literally loop, of course. If we turn a blind eye against unresolved problems, however, we’ll see the same issues turn up again and again.
Recurring facility issues will only continue to repeat if we don’t properly address the root causes.
Trust is key to success.
Distrusting the intentions and capabilities of others will lead to an unsuccessful (and miserable) career. Change requires all hands on deck!
Humans are not the cause to performance problems; they’re the solution.
We can change our futures.
Not every solution is going to work flawlessly, and that’s okay. What matters is that we put our best forward and learn from our mistakes.
