Dress Code for the TapRooT® Summit

With the 2025 Global TapRooT® Summit coming up this October, we want to ensure that everyone is well-prepared. If you’ve already selected your hotel and planned what attractions you want to see in Knoxville, don’t forget to plan what clothes to pack.
Business Casual Dress Code
Recommended attire for the Summit is business casual. This can be a somewhat ambiguous term, so here’s a more thorough explanation:
Men’s Dress Code
Business casual for men means a button-up shirt and a pair pants. (We don’t recommend jeans, but you can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.) You don’t need a blazer, but it couldn’t hurt to bring a jacket in case you get chilly.
Because the Summit involves a lot of walking, we strongly encourage you to bring a comfortable pair of shoes. I, for one, will be shamelessly wearing my sole-supporting tennis shoes the entire conference.

Women’s Dress Code
Business casual for women could vary on personal taste and style.
Any formal combination of a top (button-ups, blouses, sweaters, jackets, et cetera) and a bottom (pants, skirts, dresses, and so on) will do just fine.
You can wear whatever shoes you like, but keep in mind that the Summit involves a fair amount of standing and walking. We advise bringing tennis shoes or flats over heels.

Wednesday Night Reception

Before you stuff your suitcases with button-ups and dress pants, leave some room for one more thing: your favorite team’s sportswear!
Every Summit, we host a reception to have a little fun. This year’s theme is Tailgating, so bring any sports jerseys and uniforms!
Have You Registered?
The Summit is right around the corner. If you haven’t registered yet, don’t wait!
If you’ve already registered, spread the word on LinkedIn! Repost our course announcement (at the very bottom of the page) and let the world know why you’re excited for the 2025 Global TapRooT® Summit.
For those that frequently feel cold, don’t forget to bring a light jacket or sweater. The cxonference facilities may seem cold to many attendees.
