After our hybrid 2021 Summit, we are pleased to announce that our 2022 Summit will be back to an entirely in-person event. Every year, we pay attention to our Summit attendees’ feedback and design our future Summits off of that feedback. Keynote Speaker Spotlight
Ennis was a former Marine sergeant when her helicopter went down flying over Afghanistan on June 23, 2012. The crash left Ennis with spine trauma, a broken jaw, damage to the right frontal lobe, and an amputated left leg above the knee. In 2019 Ennis received the ESPYS Pat Tillman Awar for Service.
Kirstie Ennis will be joining us Friday, May 6, 2022, to share her story of never giving up.

Alex Paradies
Alex’s role at System Improvements is to help clients learn how to maximize TapRooT® as an investigative and predictive methodology. He has received a B.S. in Material Science & Engineering from the University of Tennessee. His breakout session is “How are Quality & Production Incidents Different from Safety Incidents?” If you are interested in hearing him speak, he will be presenting on Wednesday, May 4, at 2:55 pm.
Barb Carr
Barb Carr joined TapRooT® in 2006 and has become our leading expert on TapRooT® and emotional intelligence. She has trained with the National Forensic Science Technology Center, and she completed a human factors training course at the University of Michigan. Barb has a B.S. in Psychology and is a Certified Professional Coach. Her breakout session is “Psychology Behind Root Cause Analysis Interviewing.” If you are interested in hearing her speak, she will be presenting on Friday, May 6, at 9:00 am.
Vincent Phipps
Vincent is known as the Attitude Amplifier. As a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, or communication coach, he blends his high energy, humor, interaction, and upbeat presentation skills to help you improve your communication and presentation skills. If you are interested in hearing him speak, he will be giving two presentations. Both of his presentations will be on Wednesday, May 4. His first presentation will teach you how to “Amplify Your Presentation Skills” at 12:30 pm. His second presentation will teach you how to “Amplify Your Listening Skills” at 2:55 pm.
