Wednesday, October 1st
Start by being welcomed at registration by our staff…
and breakfast from 8 to 8:50. The Summit has breakfast every morning, and lunch is provided on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Summit opens with a pre-job briefing and the “Name Game.” Don’t arrive late; you don’t want to miss this.
Next, Vincent Phipps is our opening keynote speaker.
Vincent’s specialty is effective communication. In his keynote address, he will use his knowledge to help you get the most out of your Summit experience by learning effective techniques to share (communicate) and learn (hear others communicate) best practices at the various sessions at the Summit. In addition, Vincent will share ideas to help you sell your ideas when you get back to work and implement your best ideas! This session is highly interactive, so be prepared to participate.

The closing speaker on Wednesday is Alex Weber. You may know him as the host of American Ninja Warrior. He will discuss “Facing Challenges, Self-Doubt, and Uncertainty When Achieving World-Class Performance.”
Immediately following Alex’s presentation is the Summit Reception. You are welcome to bring a guest to enjoy the food, drinks, entertainment, and fun!
Thursday, October 2
Welcome back to day two and breakfast from 8 to 8:50. Then, hear our opening keynote speaker, Gard Clark, discuss the hazards and safeguards of underwater operations. Gard is a Nuclear Navy Submariner who commanded the USS Dallas (SSN 700). He will discuss the risk of submarine operations and the shocking sinking of the Titan submersible.
After Gard’s presentation, the eight Best Practice Tracks will have four more sessions each on Thursday. They include these talks:

Then, on Thursday, we have our closing keynote speaker, Barb Carr, a TapRooT® Instructor and a returning keynote speaker. Barb will provide practical tips for implementing improvements, whether those ideas came from a root cause analysis or your attendance at the Summit.

Hear her firsthand story and how the lessons she learned when she was almost shot down (during a mission over Iraq) can be related to your work in her talk titled:

That is an outline of the 2025 Global TapRooT® Summit from start to finish, but it doesn’t do justice to the total experience.
