Should You Attend a Public TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course or Have a Course at Your Site?

What TapRooT® Course Should You Attend?

People often ask me:

“Is it best to go to a public TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course,
or is it better to have an on-site course?”

Also, I am asked about which type of course – the 2-Day, Virtual 3-Day, 5-Day, or 2-Day Equifactor® Course – they should attend.

Here are my suggestions for people wondering which course they should attend.

PUBLIC or ON-SITE TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course?

PUBLIC: If you only have a few folks who will be learning to solve problems with the TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis System, I recommend attending one of our public courses. See the full schedule of courses.

Of course, you will find TapRooT® courses all over the world (and virtually for our 3-day), so you will likely want to register for a course near you or in a destination you would like to visit. At the course, you will meet people from other companies who use TapRooT®, and you can compare notes and share best practices with them.

Also, if you want to “check out” TapRooT® Training before you decide if you want to implement it across your site or company, a public course is a great way to sample TapRooT® Training and then test the techniques on your incidents.

ON-SITE: If you have approximately 10 or more people at your site who will benefit from TapRooT® Training, I recommend opting for on-site training. But you can also schedule our virtual 3-day course. You will save money, and your folks won’t have to travel. Get a quote for a course at your site.

Which TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course Should We Attend?

I usually recommend the 5-Day TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader Training, or the 2-Day TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Training, or the 3-Day Virtual TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course, or the 2-Day Equifactor® Equipment Troubleshooting and TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Course.
