The 4-hour TapRooT® General Employee Training provides an understanding of the TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Tools used to investigate incidents. It is designed for those who may be involved in an incident investigation (for example, those who might be interviewed), such as supervisors, operators, HR personnel and maintenance workers, who will benefit from understanding the TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis process and how TapRooT® RCA digs deeper for root causes without placing blame. Those who will be leading a TapRooT® Investigation need more extensive training (the 2-Day, 3-Day, or 5-Day TapRooT® Training).
Our 5-Step Investigation Process simplifies TapRooT® RCA to make the investigation efficient yet effective. The training focuses on the process of understanding what happened, identifying Causal Factors, analyzing the Causal Factors using the Root Cause Tree®, and developing effective fixes using the Corrective Action Helper® Guide.
Attendees are presented an overview of the TapRooT® System, practice using a SnapCharT® Diagram to understand what happened, and are guided through root cause analysis using the TapRooT® Root Cause Tree® Diagram.
