Which Hotels Are Closest to the Summit?
Are you attending the 2025 Global TapRooT® Summit? Remember to book where to stay! There are plenty of hotels nearby.
The Summit is taking place October 1-3, 2025 at the Knoxville Convention Center. These hotels are ranked by proximity, from closest to furthest.
The Marriott
We recommend staying at The Marriott (circled) because it’s right across the street from the convention center (next to the Sunsphere). The crosswalk is even sheltered from the elements.
As a four-star hotel, the Marriott is a modern hotel that puts comfort first. Amenities include valet parking, complimentary breakfast, and a local shuttle. Each room features a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, smart TV, and wifi access. The hotel also houses a lounge, restaurant, 24-hour gym, game room, and ballroom.
The Tennessean
Being adjacent to The Marriott, The Tennessean (circled) is also a desirable four-star hotel to book during the Summit.
The Tennessean aims for an old-world look and feel but still offers modern amenities. It hosts a restaurant, gym, and indoor pool. Every room includes a mini-fridge, coffee machine, flatscreen TV, and wifi.
Hilton
The Hilton (circled) is a block away from the convention center. It’s about a four-minute walk across the Henley Street Crossover.
This is a contemporary four-star hotel with the amenities you would expect. Guests are granted access to a buffet breakfast, a coffee shop, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool. Rooms feature flat-screen TVs and wifi access.
Cumberland House
Located seven minutes away from the Summit by foot, Cumberland House (circled) is another viable option.
The three-star hotel includes standard amenities, such as a lounge, 24/7 fitness center, and restaurant. Breakfast and parking are offered but are not complementary. Flatscreen TVs, coffeemakers, and wifi access are provided in all rooms.
The Oliver Hotel
The Oliver Hotel (circled) is also a seven-minute walk to the convention center. It’s tucked into the corner of Market Square, making it a decent option for anyone interested in exploring the city of Knoxville.
The Oliver is a three-star boutique hotel, boasting hand-crafted decor, flatscreen TVs, wifi, mini-fridges, and organic teas. Guests can also access the on-site restaurant and bar.
Plan Ahead
We strongly suggest booking a room while there’s still availability. The closest airport is the McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS), which is about a 20-minute drive to the convention center. You can read more about transportation options here.
