We often do a TapRooT® investigation and find that our people (including ourselves) do things that we aren’t supposed to do. In fact, some of these behaviors, in hindsight, introduce quite a bit of risk into our processes. We stand in places we shouldn’t, and we use tools not designated for their function, we skip steps in our procedures “for good reasons,” etc. So, why do we continue to exhibit these “risky behaviors” in our everyday operations?
How do we use “outside the box” corrective actions following a TapRooT® investigation to improve our best practices? How can we use TapRooT® proactively to minimize risky behaviors and improve performance management? This expert roundtable will discuss some of these risky behaviors, why they happen, and what we’ve seen as best practices to avoid them.
