We adapted to less stimulation, little social contact, and more personal time in 2020, and we have also been grappling with multiple emotionally charged social issues and hard economic challenges.

Many of us are finding that our previous sources of happiness in relationships, places, and experiences are gone or are just not the same. Will life ever be “normal” again? It takes time to reframe and learn where happiness exists for each of us now … but it does exist. Maybe it won’t be exactly the same but it doesn’t have to steal our joy. We can create a new healthy normal. There is a science to happiness and if you know enough about how it works, you will tip the odds in your favor!

Barb joined the TapRooT® Team in 2006. She is a Certified Professional Coach and often speaks about soft skills like emotional intelligence, communication skills, and living life true to core values.

Barb has a BS in Psychology from King University and completed human factors training at the University of Michigan. She is a TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis Instructor and the Editorial Director for System Improvements – TapRooT®.
