OSHA Says BP Missed Upgrades Deadline at Texas City – Next Action Unknown

The Houston Chronicle reported that failed to complete certain safety upgrades before a September 23, 2009, deadline that had been agreed to in BP’s September 2005 settlement agreement with OSHA over the BP Texas City explosion.

This could also violate the BP agreement with the Justice Department over the criminal plea agreement that was made by BP in 2007. That agreement included a requirement to fully comply with the OSHA agreement.
