"Odessa" - Group Authorization Management

The success and growth of Takezo Corporation has allowed the company to expand across the water to the US. Based on her managerial skills with the Tokyo plant, Claire Benes has been asked to spearhead the safety team at the new plant in Odessa, TX. The plant is scheduled to open in 4 months.

Adam has decided that he needs more than the standard Authorization groups and will develop a new one for this addition.

Once logged in, Adam goes to Admin -> User Management -> Group Authorization to set these new groups up.

First he clicks [NEW] and enters the group Title, Description, and selects a Location. Adam decides to use "Director - Odessa" as the Title. For the description he is simply going to put "Users with full access." The location he selects is "USA - Odessa" which was previously setup by Hiro. Once all the information has been entered, Adam presses [SAVE].

The next step is to select the specific authorization(s) used by this group. Adam selects "Director - Odessa" and clicks [EDIT]

Since Adam knows that the Director at Odessa needs full access, he just selects the checkbox next to "TapRoot" which will give full access. Other groups will need less access so he will need to individually select permissions at that time.

Now with the "Director - Odessa" group created, Adam can now assign Claire to this new group.

With "Director - Odessa" selected, Claire now has the correct permissions to administrate the new plant.
